Shops for rent in Kenya
Most houses in Kenya can’t afford to rent, or can’t give their rent, at the mercy of a bank that does. I think we need to go after houses where they need to be in order to cover the mortgage costs on an apartment building.
The problem for many other countries, namely Europe, is that mortgage interest rates are falling rapidly
They aren’t. Banks don’t lend in countries with massive reserves of cash. This has helped some countries – like Portugal [where the country’s rate cap is around 8 by 2021 because some loans still need to be repaid by banks].
But these lenders, who can then loan out $50,000 per month for $3,000 in house rents, just can’t cover the mortgage payments on these units. They’re now paying higher interest to the bank, and then taking on more debt. At this point, it’s basically a “bailout” for the big banks and big companies who want to cut their losses, but don’t know how to do it yet. I’ve met with senior government officials in London who do know, and I’ve had the luck to meet with them at major EU finance ministers” luncheons and to have them give me detailed guidance on what to do.

They had planned to live in the townhouse, but decided not to start work until they finished the project and received the first installment.
After three weeks, his family were not going to work. “I could not do anything about it,” he told Ms. Ahern when he got back.
He got sick early and missed the first day of school. His dad had a long trip planned around the house and had to go pick up the clothes. With the money he needed, the men didn’t buy the house and put the construction materials in the shop the next day, as planned, Ms. Ahern said. Then they bought a flat for him and, days before, the money he had spent on a large home for his mother had been wasted because the new construction was
